On Sept 22^nd 2023, we relaunched the Regional Scientific Meeting, welcoming 45 medical physics colleagues, from trainees to Heads of Physics Services, from across the West Midlands.

Presentations included “Automation of CT Image Quality Tests” by Abigail Cocks, to “Feasibility of Cranio Spinal Irradiation in Halcyon and Comparison with Truebeam” by Dince Francis. Harry Poole got us reflecting and Nigel Davies chaired an open Medical Physics Special Interest Group Meeting.

Congratulations to Lydia Ram, Clinical Scientist with UHB, for winning the prize for the best presentation “Establishing Clinical Dosimetry in Peptide Receptor Radionuclide Therapy”.
