James is the Network Medical Director providing an experienced clinical perspective to the senior management team for both interventional and diagnostic radiology.

James has over 12 year’s experience as a Consultant Diagnostic and Interventional Radiologist, currently working at Wye Valley NHS Trust. He has a special interest in Upper GI and Hepatobiliary imaging and intervention but also has a wide experience in vascular and non-vascular procedures and a broad experience of diagnostic modalities.

James has been and continues to be a QSI Technical Assessor with several years experience in this role.

James was the regional representative for the West Midlands on the Interventional Radiology Clinical Reference Group. He has a track record of service improvement, introducing new services and expanding on service provision in his prior roles which include Lead Radiologist in Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust.

James is a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists, a member of the British Society of Interventional Radiologists, the Cardiovascular and Interventional Society of Europe and is a member of both the British Medical Association and the Hospital Consultant and Specialist Association.
